Castrol Duratec L (gas-engine oils for stationary natural-gas, biogas and landfill-gas engines) and Perfecto HT (heat-transfer fluids for closed-loop process heating, plastics, asphalt). Duratec selected for low-ash, long-drain engine performance with strict TBN retention. Perfecto HT covers operating temperatures up to 320°C with excellent thermal stability and low coking propensity.

Gas engines run leaner than diesel and have less combustion "wash" to clear deposits. Low-ash (SAPS) oil prevents pre-ignition and valve-seat deposit build-up.
