Stay on standard HLP (Hyspin AWS) when equipment operates in a temperature-controlled plant. Move to the high-VI Hyspin AWH Superclean (VI 150) for mobile equipment, outdoor installations, or systems that see cold-starts below 5°C.

Does zinc in conventional HLP damage modern servo valves?

Not inherently, but some high-precision servo-proportional valves specify ashless (zinc-free) oil to avoid zinc-dithiophosphate deposits on fine-tolerance lands. Check the OEM spec; if zinc-free is required, use Hyspin ZZ.
